An Introduction

I have never been one to follow cooking instructions to the letter. This is because I find that the recipe is often times a suggestion, or as Jack Sparrow would say "guidelines", that if followed directly leave me less than satisfied. Whether it is baking or cooking, going off book is my "thing".

This blog will be my laboratory. I will show you recipes that I cook and LOVE or published recipes that weren't awesome enough and how I fixed them to my liking. If anyone out there in the land of the internet has suggestions for vegan recipes send them my way!
